We have a network of 21 trusted builders, a panel of designers and architects and an inhouse team of seasoned building professionals all dedicated to achieving great outcomes for our clients. We specialise in subdivisions, home renovations, extensions and new builds. Our mission is to guide homeowners through the complexities of their projects, helping them make informed decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and connect with the best builders for their needs.

About the Role

As a Renovation & Extension Consultant, you’ll work directly with homeowners who are planning to renovate or extend their properties. Your role is to provide expert guidance on design, budgeting, and builder selection. You’ll oversee projects from concept to key handover, ensuring the best outcomes for clients while maintaining quality and efficiency.

• Renovation & Extension Focus: While we assist clients with new builds, your primary focus will be on renovations and extensions.
• Flexible Work Options: Full-time or part-time hours available. This role is ideal for experienced professionals looking for a career shift with better work-life balance.
• Work Autonomously: You’ll have the flexibility to work from home, our office (Home Base, Subiaco), at display homes, or visit clients on-site within a 20km radius of Perth.
• High Earning Potential: Leads are provided, and high performers can expect to earn $150K - $200k+ per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: Communicate with clients professionally via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Advisory Role: Provide honest, expert advice on design feasibility, costs, and builder selection.
• Project Oversight: Ensure projects stay on track and meet client expectations.
• Organisational Excellence: Keep projects well-structured and efficiently managed.
• Professional Presence: Present yourself in a semi-formal manner for client meetings.
• Flexible Work Hours: Work around client availability (mostly during the day), including some after-hours and weekend meetings if required.

About You

To excel in this role, you must be:

• Highly Organised & Detail-Oriented – Able to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• A Strong Communicator – Confident in discussing projects, providing advice, with clients and industry professionals.
• Sales-Oriented – While sales experience is helpful, a natural ability to build rapport is key.
• Self-Motivated & Independent – Capable of managing your own schedule and client interactions.
• Experienced in the Building Industry – A solid background in renovations and extensions is essential.
• Mobile & Tech-Savvy – Must have a laptop, phone, and a car for site visits.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the building industry, ideally the residential sector (builder, site supervisor, renovation/extension design, senior drafting, or similar).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport and offer constructive advice.
