Diplomatik currently have a vacancy with a valued cllient of ours for an experienced Small Motor Mechanic, working in the workshop on top notch agricultural lawnmowers and turf machinery. The position is located in Belmont and employment can either be on a casual or full-time basis, working full-time hours of 7:30 am-4 pm Monday to Friday.

Applicants will ideally have experience working on similar equipment such as turf or agriculture machinery but all applicants will be considered.

Your day to day duties:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical (petrol and diesel), electrical, and hydraulic issues with various agricultural equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures
• Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
• Assist with general technical support and troubleshooting as needed

What you will need

• C Class Drivers Licence
• Solid experience with small motor mechanics
• Experience working on turf machinery such as ride-on mowers( desirable)
• Relevant Trade Certificate
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with a variety of tools and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical/drug and alcohol
