About The Role
Australian Weighing Equipment is currently looking for a full-time On-Board Weighing Service Technician to be based at and from our Ingleburn branch in NSW.
Ideally you possess mechanical knowledge and experience and are a mature and enthusiastic individual with the ability to work in a Team environment.
You will be expected to attend site and perform service calls for Installations, repairs and maintenance and calibrations for On-Board Weighing Equipment (OBW) such as forklifts, loaders and bobcats. You will required to diagnose / fault find and implement solutions to technical problems associated to weighing equipment.
Remuneration
Remuneration indicated is a range an is dependent on skill-set, technical aptitude and experience.
Tool of Trade Vehicle provided with Toll Tag & Fuel Card - Mitsubishi Fuso 2T Truck
Tool of Trade Mobile phone provided
Responsibilities
You are required to:
Perform duties such as repairing, calibrating, and servicing On Board Weighing equipment
Ensure that service standards and objectives are being achieved.
Usage of equipment and hand power tools
General maintenance of work environment
Manual handling / laboring
Troubleshoot and testing of mechanical and digital scales
Document test results and provide complete paperwork
Programming of equipment (calibration)
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment at all times
Maintain service vehicles, equipment, tools, and PPE
Complete-time records, work orders, and logs each day
Create a positive and respectful work environment
Qualifications & Experience
Must have mechanic skills and knowledge
Must be reliable with a strong work ethic
Must have a current drivers licence
Forklift Licence
Whitecard
Must be willing to travel
Must be computer literate
Good verbal and written communication skills
Willingness and ability to continuously learn
Prompt, pleasant, positive attitude and follows instructions well
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
