About the role:
We are looking for Clinical Research Nurse to join our Clinical Team and specialise in Medication Management.
Specifically, the role involves taking ownership of the oversight, accountability, preparation, administration and destruction for Investigational Products across all our Clinical Trials. You will work within the Clinical team, supporting Clinical Trial Coordinators and Investigators with trial related procedures such as phlebotomy and collection of other pathological samples, ECGs, vital signs and patient monitoring as part of accurately carrying out protocol specified assessments, ensuring the safety of our participants and delivering world class care.
The role is for up to 12 months to cover a parental leave absence.
To be successful in the role you will:
- Ensure medications are stored, prepared and administered in line with GCP, clinical trial protocols, legal and professional requirements
- Maintains accurate, clear and detailed medication records and accountability logs for all clinical trials without protocol deviations
- Ensure there are zero medication errors
- Report any medication temperature excursions immediately and monthly medication activity reports
- Provide back-up support to other Clinical staff when required.

What do we want from you?
- 5+ years work experience as a registered nurse
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing with current AHPRA registration
- Phlebotomy and cannulation skills (desirable but not essential)
- Australian citizen or permanent Australian Resident
- Meet the requirements of Good Clinical Practice training within Australia or willing to learn
