THE ROLE
As Lead Bookkeeper, you will play an integral role and take charge to grow the Bookkeeping department of our Practice.
You will oversee the entire client journey, from meeting with potential clients, quoting, sales and marketing to developing strong client relationships.
You will work closely with our Tax, Compliance and CFO division to support our clients across a wide range of industries and client groups.
In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with clients and business owners to optimise their accounts, driving operational efficiency and set a strong foundation contributing to their ongoing success.
Using our systemised workflows, you will be trained in bookkeeping with robust procedures and processes, so the focus will be helping clients and not creating new systems.

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful applicant will have:
- Experience using Xero Practice Manager
- Experience using Xero
- Excellent client relationship skills and the confidence to nurture
- Good leadership skills with previous experience working with junior staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in liaising with clients
- Ability to think laterally and trouble-shoot complex issues
- Highly computer literate
- Full rights to work in Australia – full Australian residency status preferred.
