Maintenance/Tradesperson - Full Time

We are a large Australian family-owned and operated Holiday Village looking for a friendly, motivated, and experienced qualified Maintenance/Trades person to join our Ashmore Palms Holiday Village Team.

We specialise in providing holiday accommodation, short and long-term cabin rentals, group, corporate accommodation and a small number of caravan sites.

The Job
As part of the maintenance team, you'll have a diverse role comprising of a wide variety of tasks related to the running of a large scale holiday park.

Tasks include general cabin and facility maintenance and repairs including plumbing repairs, carpentry work, painting as well as swimming pool, vehicle and village equipment maintenance.

The position available will require applicants to possess trade skills to complement the experience and knowledge of our existing team.

The following trades would be highly regarded, but are not limited to, one of the following:

• Carpenter
• Electrician
• Plumber

Applicants will be required to be reliable, extremely safety orientated and able to work unsupervised in a team environment.

To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a trades position.

Experience within the hotel/resort industry is an advantage.

You will need to be an Australian Resident or have permanent work rights without restrictions to be able to apply for this position and hold a current Queensland manual drivers’ licence.
