Our client is a leading property management business with steady growth forecast over the next 12 months. They are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Manager to manage all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with trust accounting functions.
Reporting to the Principal, key responsibilities include:
- Daily receipting of rental monies to the correct Trust Account
- Daily reconciliation of all Trust Accounts
- Enter supplier invoices for payment
- Processing company and owner invoices for payment
- Generate tenant and owner invoices for reimbursement
- Processing mid and end of month, including owner disbursements and statements
- Investigate queries and anomalies
- Assist with owner communications, including introduction, handovers and ledger queries
- Prepare and send Property Management Agreements to owners
- Lodging bond deposits with the appropriate authority
- Ensure 100% compliance with trust accounting and activity
- General administrative duties
Our ideal applicant will be an experienced accounts person with a proven track record in the real estate, property management and/or leasing sector. Applicants with a legal accounting background will also be considered. You should be a strong communicator, who is able to work autonomously within a larger team. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word, with previous use of a property management software system is required.
The position will be office based, full time, 5 days a week
