About The Team
The Library is primarily responsible for providing information resources and services to the academic community in support of learning, teaching and research. The Library provides a friendly, engaging and professional service, focused collections, training and assistance in the location and use of information resources and an environment conducive to study. Client Engagement is responsible for co-ordinating the management and development of digital and physical enquiry services, organisation of print collections and the provision and maintenance of library study facilities across all our libraries. Gathering and analysing client feedback and exploring the user experience to identify improvements and
opportunities for new services and facilities, as well as process improvement.
Your New Role!
Are you passionate about customer service and library activities? As part of our dynamic team, you will work within the Client Engagement team to deliver outstanding enquiry and lending services, assisting clients face to face and online, monitor the study facilities to ensure they are fit for purpose and contribute to creating and building online reading lists and communicating with academic colleagues about deadlines and processes.
This position is based at our Mandurah Campus.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver Exceptional Service. Provide expert enquiry, circulation and lending support to clients, both on and off campus, ensuring a seamless experience for all.
- Manage high-demand collections. Play a key role in processing books into and out of the high-demand print collection, ensuring it is aligned with current requirements.
- Collaborate across services. Direct clients to additional university resources and services, improving their overall experience and satisfaction
- Enhance membership experience. Assist with client requests to join the library from a diverse range of members, including community, Alumni and other groups, providing top-tier services.

This Continuous, Part time (22.5 hours per week) position attracts a remuneration of $62,000 - $77,000 (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

Selection Criteria:
- Completion of Year 12: or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong communicate skills and be able to adapt to different clients' groups
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding client service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic information resources
- High attention to details
