About the Position
Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic person dedicated to providing high quality library services to the local community. In addition to providing customer service, this position has a focus on the delivery of the Home Library Service which provides library resources to people unable to visit the library.
About You
Working as a part of a collaborative library team in a customer focused, results driven and fun environment, your energy, positivity and passion for people will enable you to contribute to the success of the library service. You will have a natural ability to communicate with, influence and build rapport with a diverse range of people, including customers and volunteers, and consistently demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, and pride in your work. You have a strong history and experience in library services and / or working with older people.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
- Demonstrated experience in working with older residents, their carers and families.
- Ability to manage time, plan and prioritise projects and tasks and organize work to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to the role libraries play in supporting all forms of literacy and lifelong learning.
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and the maintenance of a supportive work environment.
