We are currently seeking Accounting background Receptionist who is an all-rounder.
Note: Accounting background Only
Hotel is a 3.5 Star hotel located in Haberfield. We are currently seeking a flexible, well presented, helpful, cheery, customer focused individual with a solid background in hotel/motel reception to join our Front Office team in this part-time position as Hotel Receptionist+Accountant.
About the role:
Basic accounting fundamentals and proficiency in the use of MYOB
As our Hotel Receptionist, your responsibilities will include:
Be the welcoming presence of the hotel at Reception
Check-in and Check-out of guests.
Competently take and process reservations.
Ensuring professionalism and accuracy with information and billing during arrival and departure.
Supervising other staff members, signing them off, delegating jobs to achieve the shifts required tasks.
Taking responsibility to ensure all required tasks are completed accurately and within given time frames.
Balancing your shift takings
Dealing with any guest complaints & enquiries in a professional manner.
Troubleshooting day to day hotel & guest issues
Ensure the safety & security of the hotel, its staff, its property, and its customers are at the forefront of mind at all times.
Report & manage maintenance issues within the hotel
Communicate between shifts effectively
Communicate with management
Conducting site and safety walks around the hotel, if required
Working with other hotel employees to ensure a smooth operations of the hotel
At times, assist function staff with hosting & welcoming or as required.
About you:
The successful candidate must have:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to outstanding customer service
The availability to work on a rotating roster
Excellent grooming and presentation skills
A warm and friendly personality
Confidence & maturity to solve problems without supervision.
Excellent time management skills
The ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently & within a team environment
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
Knowledge of Guest Centrix PMS Systems would be considered as an advantage
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office 365 & Email Management
