About the role

Angels of the Bay is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) or Diploma-trained early childhood educator to join our team in Sans Souci, NSW. This is a full-time opportunity that will shape the lives of children from birth to 5 years old in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that foster the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development of children
• Providing a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment that allows children to thrive
• Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to tailor your approach
• Collaborating with parents and families to support each child's unique needs and interests
• Maintaining compliance with all relevant early childhood education regulations and guidelines
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our service policies, procedures, and practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent Diploma qualification
• Minimum 2 years experience working in an early learning environment
• Thorough knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, families, and the team
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering the growth and development of young minds
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, as well as a Working with Children Check
