Role Description

This role is ideal for an intermediate design engineer keen to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting on a diverse range of industry-leading projects. We also consider drafts people with a solid CAD grounding keen to skill up and diversify their roles & responsibilities. The candidate will be involved in various stages of project development, from design to documentation and through to construction if they desire. We are more interested in a candidate’s attitude than experience to date.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Drafting:
• Assist in the preparation of detailed civil design plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and 12d software.
• Develop engineering drawings, plans, and documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Ensure that designs adhere to relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.

Project Support:
• Support project teams with data collection, analysis, and report preparation.
• Assist in project coordination and communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits and inspections as required, supporting the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.

Technical Development:
• Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development activities.
• Contribute to problem-solving efforts and propose innovative solutions to project challenges.

Collaboration and Communication:
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing queries.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in CAD
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices,
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design and documentation,
