We are looking for an Occupational Therapist for either part-time or full-time hours.
This is not a solo OT job!
You’ll be joining a team of supportive, knowledgeable, innovative and fun occupational therapists, allied health assistants and admin assistants.

We are looking for the right fit and if that's you we will fit in with the hours you want, full-time (we work 9 day fortnights) or part time positions available.
If you are a new graduate, we have our New Grad program that you will start with us on which provides outstanding support for your first 12 months of becoming an occupational therapist.

If you’re not from Coffs Harbour you should definitely consider it. Many of our staff have moved here in recent years and we love it!
Excel is situated right in the Coffs CBD, close to great coffee and lunch spots and heaps of walking paths. Walks are encouraged during work hours!
There’s plenty of free parking on site or out on the road.
About the job.
The position already exists. You don’t have to figure everything out and create the job. We have the referrals, resources, and the clinical space all ready to go.
You’ll be supported a with a manageable caseload, weekly/fortnightly supervision and structured clinical mentoring and opportunities to shadow senior staff if desired.
In this role you’ll:
- Assess client needs while remaining person-centred and goal focused.
- Provide holistic therapeutic interventions to a range of clients across a number of settings.
- Create & maintain resources.
- Complete necessary progress notes and relevant documentation.
- Complete reports as required.
- Liaise with other professionals e.g. doctors, teachers, other therapists, work colleagues.
- Develop and implement group therapy programs.
- Get in and play. Have fun with kids!
What you’ll need.
- Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
- AHPRA Registration
- Current unrestricted driver's licence and access to own car for school and home visits (reimbursement provided).
- Working with Children Check
- Police check

Please note this is not a suitable position for a new graduate therapist. We do have yearly intakes of new graduates onto our new grad program so if your keen please get in touch and we can advise of our next intake.
