Job Title:
Senior Occupational Therapist (Paediatric Focus – Hybrid Role)

Location:
Inner West Sydney, NSW (Clinic, Community & Work From Home Flexibility)

Position Type:
Full Time / Part Time

About Us:
We are a dynamic allied health provider in Sydney offering multidisciplinary services —including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Music Therapy, Psychology, and Dietitian services. Our growingteam is dedicated to delivering high-quality, client-centred care across diverse settings. Join us as we expand and establish a brand-new clinic in Inner West Sydney, where your expertise will shape the future of our practice!

About the Role:
We’re seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist with a passion for paediatric care and a drive to contribute to clinic development. In this hybrid role, you will manage a primary paediatric caseload and play a pivotal role in the setup and strategic development of our new clinic. You will also be involved in workflow optimization and contribute to the clinic’s strategic planning initiatives. While paediatric care is at the core of this position, you will also support adult and elderly clients—with the full backing of our experienced OT team, who can assist when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Language Proficiency: Utilize your proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) to enhance service delivery and engagement with diverse client groups.
  • Paediatric Caseload Management: Deliver expert assessment, intervention, and treatment for paediatric clients (e.g., developmental delays, ASD, sensory processing).
  • Clinic Setup & Strategic Planning: Take a lead role in establishing our new clinic, including involvement in equipment selection, service design, and strategic planning.
  • Community Engagement: Conduct community visits (e.g., schools, homes) to provide client-centred care, in collaboration with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Hybrid Service Delivery: Work flexibly across settings—clinic-based services in inner west Sydney, community visits, and remote work from home.
  • Support for Adult/Elderly Clients: Assess and treat adult and elderly clients (usually not on an ongoing basis). Rest assured, other experienced OTs in the team are available to provide support or take over if needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for complex cases.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist, with sufficient paediatric expertise.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Proven ability to work in dynamic, multi-setting environments.
  • Confident in assessments, report writing, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Proactive problem-solver excited to help build a new clinic.
  • Driven by purpose – you prioritize client progress over metrics and seek to uplift vulnerable populations.
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) is highly valued.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary Package: Starting from $116,025 pa (prorated, equivalent to $105,000+Super, even higher salary on offer based on experience and performance).
  • Flexible Working Arrangements: Choose between full-time or part-time, with flexible working days to support work–life balance.
  • Professional Development: Generous CPD allowance to support your ongoing learning and career progression.
  • Technology & Support: Provision of a brand new work phone and other tech support to enhance your efficiency.
  • Innovative & Collaborative Environment: Be part of a supportive team that values your expertise, actively involves you in shaping service delivery, and offers opportunities to influence clinic policies and strategy.

Why Join Us?

  • Shape the future of a growing clinic – your ideas matter here!
  • Focus on paediatrics while having backup support for adult/aged care cases.
  • Work-life balance with flexible scheduling and WFH options.

How to Apply:
Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and interest. For further information or inquiries, please contact Allied Health Team Leader, Tim, at [email protected] or call 0426 608 862 (please send a text message if your call is not answered on time and we will call you back as soon as possible).

We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds.
