Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Lead Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fabrication, with a strong background in aerospace, defence, or motorsport industries. The Lead Fabricator will be responsible for overseeing and carrying out the fabrication process, ensuring high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the fabrication department to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Oversee control of material stock and forward planning with assembly manager.
• Implement and uphold best practices in fabrication techniques, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Train and mentor junior fabricators, fostering skill development and teamwork.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and enhance fabrication processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment, adhering to workplace safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Trade-certified fabricator with at least 5+ years of fabrication experience.
• Expertise in MIG and stainless steel TIG welding.
• Proficiency in reading and working from CAD drawings.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment.
