About the role

Geordi Stainless', a leading manufacturer in the metal fabrication industry, is seeking a dedicated Stainless Fabricator \ Factory Hand to join their team in Cheltenham, Victoria. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to the company's continued success.

What you'll be doing

• Fabricate and assemble stainless steel components and products to specifications
• Operate a variety of machinery and tools, including 150T press, to complete fabrication tasks
• Carry out finishing processes such as grinding, polishing, and cleaning of fabricated parts
• Perform general factory duties, including loading/unloading, material handling, and housekeeping
• Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with operating various hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately to meet quality standards
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
