About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the passionate and dynamic team at Max Maclean & Co Hardware as a Retail Sales Assistant. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting in the day-to-day operations of our retail store in Corowa, NSW. This is a casual role, offering some flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and assisting customers with their shopping needs in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintaining an organised and visually appealing store environment
• Restocking and replenishing merchandise as required
• Handling cash, credit card transactions and processing returns and exchanges
• Adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment
• Entering inventory, ordering stock, dealing with reps, re stocking and cleaning store displays

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the Retail & Consumer Products industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work well in a team and independently as required
• Flexible and adaptable to work a variety of shifts, including some Saturday Mornings
• A passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience
