Early Childhood Educator – Diploma

Salary: $70,960.76 per annum

Greater Shepparton City Council has a fantastic opportunity for a Diploma Educator to work in our Frank Pullar service. We are looking for an educator that can empower their team to be proactive supporting family engagement, utilising a collective approach to shared care.

This role is a full time, permanent position, on a rotating roster with an accrued day off. Council offers support for professional development and pathways to advancement in the early childhood field.

The service operates from 7.15am – 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday, has a funded kindergarten program and a Maternal Child Health Service.

Candidates must possess:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent recognised by ACECQA (or actively working towards)
• Current First Aid – HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
• Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
• Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check Card (WWCC).
• Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood
