Our client, an SME financial services company, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the finance team by assisting in the analysis of financial data and contributing to effective decision-making within the organisation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support the development of budgets and financial forecasts, and help conduct variance analysis to aid performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with finance team members by assisting with financial data analysis and reporting tasks.
• Participate in monitoring financial regulations and standards, supporting the team in identifying potential financial risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CA certification preferred.
• Experience from the Big Four/Top Ten Audit or Financial/Management Accounting in Corporate.
• Some experience or internship in financial analysis within professional or financial services is desirable, not essential.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to effectively assist in multiple analytical projects.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
