The Company

Our client, a rapidly growing global ASX Top 200 company, is seeking a Financial Analyst (P&L) to provide insights into key revenue and expense drivers. This role is part of a critical project to align currency reporting across the group.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse and consolidate financial data, focusing on the Profit & Loss (P&L) statements with an equal emphasis on revenue and expense insights.
• Monitor and report on the company’s financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
• Assist in transitioning to new currency reporting standards, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in the technology sector.
• Strong understanding of P&L statements and financial modelling.
• Experience with multiple currency reporting changes is a plus.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Duration: Initial 6 Month Contract
Location: City Fringe | Hybrid Working arrangements
Salary: Circa $130,000 + Super (Contract equivalent)
