The Firm

My client is a midtier accounting firm based in Sydney CBD. A top 30 firm, they provide a full suite of accounting services to a longstanding client base made up of mainly large businesses, high net-worth individuals and family groups. They have good systems in place, a great team of accountants and all directors have a great reputation in the Sydney market.

The Position

Due to an internal restructure the firm is looking for a strong Associate Director to join the firm. The Associate Director will be responsible for end of end management of a group of clients, and lead a skilled team of accountants, both inhouse and offshore. Having business development skills would be seen as an advantage for this role however is definitely not required, nor is it expected to bring fees with you. There is a structured pathway to equity partnership in place for this position.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have proven experience in the public accounting space and possess the following:

• 10+ years in public practice
• Experience managing a large client portfolio (ideally of private clients)
• High level tax knowledge & business advisory experience
• Experience managing and mentoring a team
• Strong communication skills
• CA/CPA
