The Role:
As a Key Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with our most valued clients. You will ensure their needs are met while identifying opportunities for growth, optimizing sales strategies, and delivering outstanding customer service. Your ability to understand the electrical wholesale market, along with your strategic and consultative approach, will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and drive revenue expansion.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service and product delivery.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to provide tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and provide insights to senior management.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new product offerings, and competitor activities.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows as required.
About You:
Along with a proven experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the wholesale electrical industry. You will posses the following;
- Strong understanding of electrical products and solutions.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategic sales approaches.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver’s license.
