Do you have a flair for crafting compelling communications? MS Plus is looking for a Senior Campaign Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll excel at developing targeted fundraising communications, including developing email journeys to inspire participation and boost donations. Your expertise in copy editing and creating engaging social media content will be crucial in shaping the success of events like the MS Gong Ride and MS Walk Run + Roll.

Role Overview:

This position is perfect for someone with proven experience in fundraising communications and digital marketing. You’ll work closely with the Campaign Manager to execute multi-channel strategies, manage participant relationships, and ensure the seamless delivery of impactful campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage end-to-end execution of assigned fundraising campaigns, including strategy, planning, participant acquisition, engagement, fundraising, and review for events such as MS Gong Ride, MS Walk Run + Roll, The May 50K, MS Mega Challenge, and MS Community Fundraising.
  • Collaborate with the Campaign Manager and Event Marketing & Fundraising team to design and execute event marketing and fundraising plans. Draft targeted communications, including fundraising emails, and create content for digital channels such as SEO, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Implement and manage digital fundraising initiatives, including crowd-funding campaigns and Giving Days. Support integrated multi-channel approaches to acquire new donors and enhance revenue. Monitor and optimise digital strategies, including paid advertising, to achieve campaign goals.
  • Formulate and implement participant relationship management plans to drive fundraising efforts. Engage with participants and supporters to build strong relationships and meet fundraising targets. Collaborate with the supporter engagement team for effective plan execution.
  • Evaluate and review campaign execution, providing ongoing reports on registrations, fundraising income, and overall performance. Use data to inform strategic decisions and improve campaign outcomes.
  • Ensure all campaign activities comply with legal, financial, and organisational regulations. Maintain transparency and accountability in fundraising practices, adhering to privacy laws and financial reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with the Campaign Manager and team members to ensure campaign alignment and success. Participate in team meetings to offer insights and contribute to strategic discussions.

You’ll Need:

  • Experience: Over 3 years in coordinating event-based, peer-to-peer, and community fundraising, with a proven ability to manage complex campaigns.
  • Education: Tertiary qualification in fundraising, marketing, communications, business, or related field, or equivalent experience in event management.
  • Skills: Strong communication, networking, and digital campaign management skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and experience with multi-channel fundraising.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and task prioritisation skills.

One more thing

If successful, you will need to complete a National Police Check (and possibly an International Police Check).
