Grants Officer
Contract - 3 Months
Rate : $50-$55 per hour
35 hour week
Location: Blacktown

Are you an experienced Grants Officer looking for an exciting opportunity in local government? We are seeking a motivated professional to assist with grants management and administration, ensuring sound governance and best practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice and support on grants programs, applications, and procedures
• Identify and develop funding opportunities to support organisational goals
• Prepare, submit, and coordinate grant applications and funding submissions
• Maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Monitor and report on grant funding, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
• Assist in training staff on grants processes and funding applications

About You:

• A qualification in Administration, Business, or a related field, or 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience in grants programs or project administration
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A collaborative team player with the ability to work with various stakeholders

Desirable:

• Experience with corporate grant management systems and reporting
• Understanding of grant funding criteria in a local government setting
• A valid Class C driver's license
