We offer
- Salary range between $66,025 - 72,047 per annum depending on skills/experience, + superannuation.
- Annual salary increase every year based on CPI.
- Salary packaging (up to $15,899 a year, + meal/entertainment benefit of $2,650 a year).
- 10 days Noongar Cultural Leave per year
- 5 days Compassionate Leave per occasion
- 5 weeks annual leave per year + 3 days paid Christmas shut down + 17.5% leave loading

Role description
Reporting to the Administration Manager, you will undertake finance, administration, and other duties to support the Management Team including database management, assistance in performing day-to-day accounting functions, administrative support and office management duties.
Location
Bunbury, however, travel throughout the Gnaarla Karla Boodja region and the South West of WA, will be required.
Hours
Full time – permanent
Duties
- Provide general administrative and logistical support to all staff across the Corporation.
- Maintain petty cash.
- Maintain employee and volunteer personnel files.
- Maintain registers such as staff checklist and training, staff performance review information, staff academic records, risk incident register, communications (including mobile phones, lands lines, and internet), and other registers as directed.
- File, photocopy, scan, and archive documents.
- Order stationary and maintain printer toner stocks.
- Provide general support for meetings as directed.
- Assist with event and meeting planning including catering, and setup as required.
- Maintain the archives register and archive documentation in accordance with the record retention policy.
- Undertake other tasks and projects as directed.
- Contribute to and promote the implementation of GKB’s Standards on Cultural Safety.
- Other duties as required.
Selection Criteria
Essential Skills and Experience
- High Level of computer literacy and accurate data processing skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in a cross-cultural context.
- Ability to work under direct supervision to meet timelines and priorities.
- Software proficiency including Microsoft Office packages.
- Passion for learning and a can-do attitude.
- Customer service skills.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal society and culture and the issues affecting Aboriginal communities.
- Vocational qualifications would be highly regarded
- Current drivers licence.
