About Us : OneLife NQ is a local Disability Provider that have been providing services for over 40 years in the Mackay and Whitsunday region. We specialise in providing personalised services to individuals who require in home and community support, ensuring that our programs operate with integrity, effectiveness and compliance.

THE ROLE:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our team. The focus of the role is NDIS, financial and WHS performance and compliance. This role is crucial in ensuring our policies, procedures, and operations continue to meet regulatory requirements and best practices. You will work closely with the manager and our leadership team to develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance frameworks that drive continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
✔️ Develop, review, and maintain policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
✔️ Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance.
✔️ Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
✔️ Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and best practices.
✔️ Maintain accurate documentation and reports for compliance and accreditation.
✔️ Stay up to date with industry regulations and legislative changes.

ABOUT YOU:
• Experience in quality assurance, compliance, or policy development (ideally in the non-profit, healthcare, or community services sector).
• Experience in finance and financial systems is desirable.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Qualifications in finance, business or quality management would be an advantage.
