With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we are seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team and make a real impact.
Role and Responsibilities:
You will be an integral member of our technical support team, ensuring that our clients' systems operate seamlessly and efficiently. Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on-site and in-house, ensuring minimal disruption to our clients' PVC Card printers and operations.
- Installing and configuring hardware and software solutions tailored to meet clients' unique needs.
- Conducting routine maintenance and system upgrades to optimise performance.
- Collaborating with the support team to provide prompt and effective solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Providing clear and concise documentation of work performed and solutions implemented.
- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous engagement as a Field Technician (A minimum of 2 years' experience is preferred).
- A background in technology, electronics, or related fields.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Familiarity with printers or electronics using belts, motors, and gears for feeding paper or plastics.
- Experience with Troubleshooting, Operating System Windows and application software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Customer-focused attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client locations.
