Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our Sales team as an Administrative Assistant. This is an entry-level role where you will play a key part in supporting the daily operations of the sales department. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Accurately enter and update customer and sales data into our ERP and other internal systems.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional customer support via phone, email, or chat, addressing customer enquiries and concerns promptly.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing sales documents.
- Order Processing: You will be responsible for accurately entering all customer orders into our ERP system, ensuring timely and correct processing.
- File Management: Maintain and organise both physical and electronic files related to sales activities, contracts, and customer information.
- General Administrative Duties: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the sales department.
- Communication: Coordinate with other departments to ensure the sales team has the resources and information needed to meet customer requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some tertiary education is preferred).
- Basic proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is an advantage but not essential.
