About the role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader with great people and administrative skills, who is looking for an opportunity to lead the day-to-day delivery of direct care and services to Aged Care consumers.

No day is the same and you will get to enjoy a variety of work which can include:

 Partner with clients and families to provide direct care and services and establish clear service expectations;
 Building support workers understanding of client needs, goals and preferences, and safe work practices;
 Acting as a role model, mentor support workers, and promote effective teamwork;
 Allocating workload effectively to support workers and community workers based at Belyuen, to ensure clients receive timely and responsive care and services;
 Supporting Case Managers to maintain client records and collection of data in the client management system;
 Contributing to the day-to-day operation of the Aged Care Centre;
 Facilitating transport and meal preparation, as required.

This role will work closely with the Aged Care Manager and will suit a highly motivated individual looking to expand their skills and experience in aged care.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

 Certificate III in Community Services (or similar) and/or previous experience in a similar role.
 Ability to work both autonomously as well as within a team.
 A great work ethic, which includes attention to detail.
 Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 Leadership qualities and be a collaborative problem solver.

3-month Probationary Period applies.
