About you:
- Demonstrated ability to delegate responsibility, work with, mentor & coach fellow employees’ positivity developing their skills & capabilities.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the automotive service industry / preferably small engine mechanics qualified.
- Ability to enhance Customer Service performance standards through effective leadership & coaching
- A solid desire to step up and take on new challenges and make the department your own.
- Strong technical knowledge of small engines (mowers etc) and their components.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills to manage a busy workshop.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
- A passion for customer focus and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Solutions focused to identify and drive operational improvements ensuring successfully outcomes.
- Career focused with a calm, personable demeanour and a can-do attitude
- Demonstrates the highest level of business ethics, integrity & resilience
- Consistently adheres to and promotes company/manufacturer values maintaining principles in all business & customer interactions
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the service department.
- Grow relationships with the commercial customers, to ensure that NOWA is their trusted partner with servicing and maintaining their equipment.
- Report workshop KPI's and performance improvements to management.
- Lead and grow a team of skilled technicians and mechanics, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Mentor and supervise apprentices.
- Coordinating and scheduling service appointments to optimise workflow and meet customer demands.
- Ensure all maintenance and repair work is performed to the highest standards of quality and within established time frames.
- Interacting with customers to provide exceptional service, address inquiries, and manage customer feedback.
- Drive improvements in safety and workshop housekeeping.
- Other duties as required.
