Coastal Kids is looking for a new Team Leader! We are currently in the process of adding in Occupational Therapy into our service offerings. The team leader position will include leading SLPs and OTs.

Coastal Kids has been operating in Townsville for over 15 years. We are currently a team of 10 including therapists, customer service staff, and allied health assistants. About the Role:

As the Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in managing and guiding our team, ensuring the highest standards of care and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, managing, and developing a team of allied health professionals.
• Evaluating and reporting on client outcomes
• Collaborating with management to implement practice policies and procedures.
• Supporting clinicians with scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimisation.
• Conducting performance evaluations and facilitating professional development and training.
• Work to the continuous improvement of the practise in terms of client outcomes, team well being and operational efficiency.
• Promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Managing your own clinical caseload with a focus on client outcomes

What we are Looking For:

• Degree in Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with your recognised body
• Previous experience in team leader role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong commitment to client-centered care, evidence based practise and a team-oriented approach.
• Willingness and ability to work with director to grow the OT side of the business.
