REGIONAL LEAD NEEDED AT DISABILITY SUPPORT ORGANISATION

We are seeking an experienced Regional Lead to oversee operations and lead a team of Senior and Clinical Lifestyle Assistants. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in disability services, and a passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and mentor a team of Senior and Clinical Lifestyle Assistants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of allocated Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Individualised Living Options (ILO) services.
• Ensure all services comply with NDIS quality and safeguarding standards while upholding Great Mates’ mission and values.
• Work closely with individuals, families, and external stakeholders to develop and implement individual lifestyle plans that support independence and well-being.
• Manage financial and administrative tasks, including budgets, payroll approvals, invoicing, and reporting.
• Develop and implement staff rosters to ensure appropriate service coverage and continuity of care.
• Conduct performance reviews, training sessions, and team meetings to support professional development.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and compliance records, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
• Identify and implement best-practice initiatives to improve service delivery and participant outcomes.
• Ensure risk management procedures and WHS policies are adhered to across all operational areas.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the disability, healthcare, or community services sector.
• Proven experience in supporting individuals with complex needs, mental health conditions, and high-intensity supports.
• Strong understanding of NDIS compliance, policies, and reporting requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in budget management, rostering, and operational efficiency.
• Diploma of Disability, Community Services, or equivalent qualification.
• Current First Aid Certificate and NDIS Worker Screening (Blue & Yellow Card).
• Current unrestricted QLD driver’s licence.
