Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
- Appointment Management: Schedule patient appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal flow and minimal wait times. Handle inquiries and follow-up calls with precision.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, manage patient forms, and provide administrative assistance to the medical team.
- Billing and Insurance Coordination: Assist with patient billing, insurance verification, and payment processing, ensuring compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
- Clinic Operations: Support daily office tasks, such as managing email inboxes and take appropriate actions in regards to emails, maintaining the cleanliness of the clinic, and ensuring the seamless operation of the front desk.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Exceptional Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
- Technologically Proficient: Comfortable with office management software and digital tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.). Experience with medical software is an advantage.
- Customer-Centric: A genuine passion for providing top-tier service, with the ability to maintain a calm, friendly, and helpful demeanor even under pressure.
- Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare procedures will be advantageous.
