Are you looking for minimal hours of 10-15 hours a week but able to be flexible to cover other sifts and be on call? (Split shifts are required between 6am - 6pm)

I am looking for someone to join a small home based family like business who can provide the highest level of care to the 4 legged fury kids of our lives! If you have what it takes to be smothered in dog kisses and cuddles send through your application today!

All round Kennel Assistant and Ground Maintenance position includes but not limited to:

• Morning and afternoon feeding
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of kenneling areas through regular cleaning and disinfection
• Taking dogs out for walks and exercise
• Administration of medications
• Supervising play times and creating enrichment
• Completing dog health checks
• Daily cleaning and disinfectant of kennels and grounds
• Ground maintenance - including mowing, whipper snipper, gardening, kennel repairs
• Reception - checking in and out dogs, taking payments, making bookings
• Pet Taxi services
• Lots of cuddles and play time!

Essential reuqirements:

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Great customer service
• Able to lift 20kg
• Manual drivers license
• Experience with dogs of different sizes and behaviours
• Adaptable and able to handle a variety of tasks
• Genuine passion for animal welfare
• Police clearance required

Desirable skills and experience include:

• Qualification in Companion Animal Services (or similar) OR animal experience
• Dog training and behavioural knowledge
