$100,000 – $120,000 per year

Due to expansion, Informed Building Inspections is seeking a qualified Building and Pest Inspector to start immediately.

The Role

Conducting comprehensive Building and Pest Inspections on site and completing unbiased thorough reports using our software reporting program. Providing client follow up can include onsite discussions, or phone calls to follow up with client questions.

Our inspections include pre-purchased building and pest inspections, pre-sale building and pest inspections, building only inspections, stage and handover/practical completion inspections. We conduct inspections on all types of property ranging from new builds to existing homes, apartments, or commercial properties.

Qualifications Required

To be successful in this role, applicants must be suitably qualified and hold the following licenses.

• Current QBCC Builders or Building Surveyors License
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in Building or Building Surveying
• QBCC Completed Residential Building Inspectors License
• PMT License in Pest Control Activity including Timber Pest (or currently studying)
• Current QLD Drivers License

• A high level of health and fitness to be able to safely complete job related tasks such as climbing onto a roof, into roof spaces and under subfloors as required.
