About the role:

We are currently seeking an experienced registered builder or building inspector to join our team. Successful applicants will use their building industry experience and qualifications to do Pre Purchase Building and Timber Pest Inspections. If you are a registered building practitioner or a contractor looking for more work, or looking for semi-retirement work with flexible working hours, this job is for you.

This could suit someone already operating their business and looking for more work to fill in their calendar.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Pre-purchase Building & Timber Pest Inspections
• Complete detailed assessment reports using our user-friendly software My Inspection App
• Noting Major Defects, Major Structural Defects and Minor Defects
• Communication skills with clients as a professional

Skills/Requirements:

• A registered builder or inspector with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Attention to detail, major as well as minor defects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as a professional
• Keen to work independently, supporting clients, representing our brand
• Must be able to inspect roof spaces and subfloor areas
• Drivers License and a reliable car
• Current Police check
• Computer/iPad literate
• Competent in plan reading
• Willing and being able to travel
• Enthusiastic, committed and available Monday-Friday
• Having Timber Pest Inspection qualification is an advantage
