About the role

As the HSE Manager at SH construction Australia PTY LTD, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction projects across New South Wales. This full-time role is based in our Epping site and plays a critical part in maintaining our high standards of workplace safety and environmental sustainability.

What you'll be doing

• Developing, implementing and monitoring health, safety and environmental management systems and processes
• Conducting site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks
• Providing training and support to project teams on HSE best practices
• Investigating incidents and near misses, and implementing corrective actions
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation
• Collaborating with project managers and clients to achieve HSE objectives
• Preparing and presenting HSE performance reports to senior management

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in occupational health and safety, environmental science or a related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in a similar HSE management role, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong working knowledge of WHS and environmental legislation and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
• Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve HSE goals
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in using HSE software and data management tools
