Senior Payroll Specialist– 6-Month Fixed Term Contract ($115,00 - $130,000 + super)

A well-established national leader in their sector is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to support the integration of employees following a recent acquisition. Based in North-West Sydney, this is a full-time, office-based role with flexible working hours. Onsite parking included.

The role is initially a 6-month contract with a strong chance of extension or permanency.

This is a high-volume, fast-paced position that requires a hands-on professional who can balance both business-as-usual payroll processing and a large-scale employee migration. You'll be working in a tight-knit, successful team with access to onsite gym and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the migration and integration of approximately 1,000 employees into internal database (Micropay)
• Ensure seamless and accurate weekly payroll processing for both new and existing employees.
• Provide hands-on payroll processing support while managing broader payroll functions.
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and maintain operational efficiency.

About You:

• Minimum 6 months experience using Micropay in a high-volume payroll environment.
• Well versed with multiple awards & EBAS
• Strong experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Ability to manage both payroll migrations and full-function payroll processing.
• Employee migration & similar project based experience is HIGHLY desirable.
• High attention to detail with a proactive and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
