About them
Our client is a leading, high-growth organisation within a multinational parent company, known for its industry-leading brands with a diverse employee group across both blue and white collar. As one of the fastest-growing brands in the region, they are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace—and are now looking for the right person to help them drive that vision forward.

About the journey so far
This role is newly created in response to valuable feedback from employees and engagement surveys. It marks a pivotal moment in the company’s D&I journey—a moment where intention turns into meaningful action. While the business has made strides, it recognises that true progress requires a dedicated, strategic approach. Their goal? To become an 'Employer of Choice'—a place where diversity is celebrated, and every employee feels a sense of belonging.
As the Diversity & Inclusion Manager, you will be the central custodian of the D&I pillar within the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, driving initiatives that support under-represented groups within the business. Success in this role will come from a consultative, patient, and pragmatic approach—building trust, influencing leadership, and embedding real change.

About the key aims of the role

  • Setting the Strategic Direction – Partnering with senior leadership, including the Executive Leadership Team, to define and implement the D&I Roadmap.
  • Leading Cultural Change – Overseeing and leading a business-wide D&I working group as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.
  • Promoting Gender Equality – Working closely with Directors, senior leaders, and HR to drive gender equality and work towards 'Employer of Choice' status.
  • Developing the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) – Engaging stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company’s People mission.
  • Supporting Business Functions – Collaborating with key stakeholders to drive engagement and better communicate D&I commitments to retail and commercial partners.
  • Embedding D&I Across the Employee Lifecycle – Integrating D&I principles into recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development.
  • Driving Awareness & Education – Developing and delivering internal training programs to foster a culturally inclusive environment.
  • Measuring Impact & Compliance – Implementing D&I reporting capabilities and scorecards, managing WGEA reporting, and identifying data improvements.

About you
You are a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, with the ability to turn strategy into action. With a strength in stakeholder engagement, you take a consultative approach to understand and meet them where the business is at, and take them on the journey to drive meaningful change in a blue and white collar organisation.

  • D&I Experience – Proven experience leading and implementing D&I strategies and programs, ideally within low maturity/greenfield D&I environments.
  • Reconciliation Action Plan Experience – Experience developing RAPs and working with external stakeholder groups to drive meaningful outcomes.
  • Strong Stakeholder Engagement – Ability to influence senior leaders and operational teams, building trust and gaining buy-in.
  • Project Management & Organisational Development Knowledge – Skilled in planning and executing programs that align with strategic goals and timelines.
  • Data & Compliance Awareness – Familiarity with WGEA reporting, diversity metrics, and broader employee data governance.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to think critically and drive continuous improvement in D&I initiatives.
