We are seeking a Cost Accountant to play a key role in managing costs, optimising margins, and supporting the financial strategy as the business continues its expansion. This is an opportunity to join a company that values work-life balance and career development.

- Monday to Friday work schedule (8.00 AM - 4.00 PM).

What do you do?
- Manage and track all aspects of COGS to ensure financial targets are met.
- Maintain inventory management system
- Work closely with operations to review inventory, supplier orders, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyse margins and implement cost-control measures for labour and goods.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to present findings and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
- Assist with supplier negotiations and help maintain strong relationships with key partners.
- Manage the weekly operational reporting process and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
What do you need?
- Proven experience in operational analytics or a similar financial role within a hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of margin management, COGS, and labour cost control.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel, Xero, and POS systems and timesheet systems such as Deputy.
- Experience managing inventory management systems
- Experience in summarising and analysing data using Excel
- Experience in maintaining and creating financial models in Excel
- Ability to collaborate with operations teams and other departments to ensure financial targets are met.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly to senior leadership.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach and a passion for improving operational processes.
