Senior Project Manager

Your new company

Your new company is a national construction company that look after a range of commercial projects. These include: Fit-out, Refurbishment, New-Build, Mix-use Commercial and Modular. They are now seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their expanding team.

Your new role

In your new role, you will play a vital role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects in the Brisbane area. This full-time position will involve managing all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction are met.

You'll be in charge of looking after commercial projects up to the value of $40M. You'll also be in charge of:

• Manage the project team
• Accurate forecasting of margin, cash-flow forecasting and profitability of project
• Subcontractor management and procurement
• Management and tracking of project expenditure
• Communicating with all stakeholders and maintaining positive relationships
• Efficient and accurate close-out of projects including finalisation of the work and defect management
• Ensuring projects are completed on time and to client satisfaction.

What you'll need to succeed

What you'll need to succeed in your new role:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, looking after projects up to $40M in value
• Demonstrated expertise in project planning, budgeting, and resource management
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Proficient in using project management software: Jobpac, Procore, Hammertech, MS Projects
