THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee and manage our waterproofing, concrete repair, roofing repairs and replacements, and remedial building works projects. As the

Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Your role will involve overseeing onsite labour, purchasing materials,

managing employees and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Regular one-on-one meetings and toolbox meetings will be essential to maintain effective.

THE ROLE:

• Oversee several projects at once, making sure they run smoothly and according to plan.
• Develop project schedules, manage budgets, and optimise efficiency and profitability.
• Identify potential risks or delays to projects and implement corrective measures.
• Recruit, train and manage onsite labour as needed.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team within a positive work environment.
• Implement safe work practices and train staff in accordance with our regulations and procedures.
• Hold regular toolbox meetings, one on one meetings with employees to provide feedback and address areas of concern.
• Monitor stock levels, collaborate with suppliers to source high quality material and ability negotiate terms and pricing.
• Communicate with internal teams such as sales, finance, and customer service to ensure coordination and alignment across all departments.
• Weekly reports to summarise the projects progress for senior management, analyse data, reporting of projects financials, prepare ad-hoc reports as required.

ABOUT YOU:

• Proven experience in Project management
• Ability to work on several projects at a fast pace.
• Excellent leadership and people skills to manage a diverse team.
• Trade and or construction background with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Relevant qualifications in construction or project management are desirable.
• Attention to detail and have a commitment to quality and safety.
• Proficient budgeting, cost control, financial analysis, the ability to negotiate and vendor management skills.

SALARY:

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 per annum, plus superannuation, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
