True Foods, home of Simson’s Pantry, is on the search for an Assistant Brand Manager to support our Senior Brand Manager, in developing and implementing brand strategies that enhance brand equity, drives sales growth and long-term profitability across our well known and loved brand.

We’re looking for someone who’s hands-on and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done across all marketing facets. You’ll be able to handle multiple moving pieces without missing a beat, playing an essential role to shape the future of the Simson’s Pantry brand. Does this sound like you? This role will be primarily based at our Hawthorn office; however, you’ll need to make trips to our bakery factory in Maryborough (2hrs from Melbourne) to keep in touch with production and our bakery team.

A little of what you’ll be doing:

· Supporting the development of the Brand Strategy by identifying trends, consumer insights and competitor analysis

· Monitoring the market to identify portfolio optimisation opportunities

· Coordinating NPD projects (in-house or 3PM) from concept to commercialisation for branded and foodservice focussed initiatives

· Assisting to develop and then executing PR campaigns

· Collaborating on the creation of impactful marketing materials, including presentations, press releases, and point-of-sale materials

· Ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity across all channels

· Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across all platforms

· Being a touch point for day-to-day operations

About you

· A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or relevant discipline would be highly regarded

· 2+ years’ Brand/Marketing experience within FMCG/Consumer Goods Industry

· Demonstrated experience supporting and coordinating NPD projects from business cases through to launch

· Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media and content marketing

· Working knowledge of Brand Management, Brand activation and Channel marketing with an understanding of Consumer marketing, Brand Development, R&D and Supply Chain interaction

· Results driven mindset, you don’t just talk strategy but actively contribute to its execution

· Strong communication and negotiation skills

· AI and design experience would be advantageous
