About the role
As Traffic Management Officer, you will be part of the Works Engineering team and assist in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic within Ipswich. Your main focus will be on planning, coordinating, and implementing traffic management strategies that will enable the branch to undertake works in a safe and practical manner.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver traffic management plans and solutions
- Provide technical support and advice on traffic management issues
- Transform traffic management practices through innovative solutions

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Traffic Management Design (TMD) qualification issued by the Department of Transport and Main Roads
- Current Queensland C Class Queensland driver's licence
- Experience in developing traffic management plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
A pre-employment medical is required for this role (including drug and alcohol testing).

This is a permanent full time position with a salary commencing at $105,560 (pro rata) plus 12.5% superannuation.
