About the Role:

Mamasita is an incredibly fast-paced restaurant serving 200-350 guests every day within demanding turn times and a relent focus on excellence and consistency in everything we do. We are looking to bring an experienced Chef to join our team as a Senior CDP or Junior Sous chef - dependant on experience.

You will be joining the team working across both prep and service shifts as a senior team member in our small but busy kitchen, and leading services in place of the Senior Sous or Sous where rostered.

With a typical weekly roster, you will be able to maintain a comfortable work/life balance - with a supportive and caring work family.

Ensuring our exacting standards and timeframes are met, you'll work closely with the front of house team to ensure every guest leaves happy!

About You:

We’re seeking a Chef who joins us with:

• Strong experience in a fast-paced professional kitchen
• At least 2-years experience as a CDP (or 2 years as a Senior CDP for Junior Sous role) in a comparable high-volume restaurant
• Relevant qualifications to your experience and skill level
• Experience with prep/production would be advantageous
• Exemplary leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example, be a positive communicator, and inspire the team with your work, care and attention to detail
• Highly organised and maintain order in the kitchen throughout services, setting the team up for success
• A relentless passion and love for food and hospitality
