About the role

Become part of the team at Newcastle Maintenance Group as a permanent part time Cleaner. This is a flexible role where you will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services to commercial and residential properties across Newcastle, NSW. The role offers a casual work type, allowing you to work around your existing commitments.

What you'll be doing

• Perform a variety of general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming
• Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to a high standard, meeting client expectations
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Assist with any other ad-hoc cleaning tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a commercial or residential cleaning role, with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management and organisational skills to ensure all work is completed to schedule
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including evenings and weekends as required
