Source Certain are currently looking for a cleaning technician to join our team. This role involves general cleaning duties while also managing basic administrative tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining the facility, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment. This may involve mopping office and laboratory flooring, toilets, rubbish collection, cleaning external entry glass, kitchen tidy, vacuuming, and other relevant duties as required.

Cleaner Responsibilities:

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans and maintaining overall cleanliness.
• Washing and drying windows.
• Conducting carpet cleaning as required.
• Performing basic administrative tasks such as data entry, emails, and managing cleaning schedules.
• Liaising with the line manager to ensure sufficient cleaning supplies.
• Reporting any breakages or necessary repairs.

Cleaner Requirements:

• Must have basic admin and computer skills.
• Police clearance (current or willing to obtain).
• Australian citizen.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Team player with a proactive approach.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
• Strong work ethic, high standards, and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude towards safety and workplace well-being.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
