Joy In Movement is the world’s first fully automated infrared workout experience, and 2025 is set to be a major year of expansion. We’re on the lookout for a highly organised and proactive Project Manager to play a key role in supporting new franchisees from site selection through to the successful delivery of their studio fit-outs.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-growing brand, where you will be responsible for liaising with designers, contractors, managing quotes, and ensuring our fit-outs are delivered on schedule and within budget. What You’ll Be Doing:
Leasing & Site Selection Support
- Assist franchisees in assessing and selecting suitable properties that align with our site selection criteria.
- Coordinate with leasing agents, landlords, and legal teams to facilitate lease negotiations.
- Provide guidance on lease terms, property requirements, and fit-out feasibility.
Project Management & Fit-Out Delivery
- Develop and manage a structured project management framework for franchise builds, ensuring smooth execution from planning to completion.
- Act as the primary liaison between franchisees, designers, builders, landlords, and suppliers.
- Provide cost estimates and guidance on Scope of Works in collaboration with franchisees and development teams.
- Oversee construction progress, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Secure permits and approvals by working closely with councils and relevant authorities.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders to keep projects on track.
- Proactively identify and resolve any roadblocks to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Pre-Opening & Franchisee Support
- Oversee all pre-opening activities, including operational and marketing readiness.
- Manage the Hapana marketing and pre-launch setup, ensuring consistency with Joy In Movement’s brand standards.
- Support franchisees with recruitment, local area marketing, and pre-sale initiatives to drive business success.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in project management, construction, retail fit-outs, or franchise development is highly regarded.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to liaise with landlords, contractors, and franchisees.
- A problem-solving mindset with a proactive and hands-on approach.
- Understanding of budgeting and financial management for fit-out projects.
