About the Role:
As a Procurement Business Partner, you will be a strategic advisor, ensuring procurement practices align with organisational goals. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage contracts and support commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze contract performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Prepare reports and insights for stakeholders regarding contract performance.
- Assist with contract variations and maintaining accurate supplier records (e.g., contacts, insurances).
- Oversee procurement processes from initiation to contract close-out, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Provide support for smaller procurement activities, including raising purchase orders and receipting invoices.
- Develop procurement strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
- Assist in adhering to State Purchase Contracts (SPC) for consistency and compliance.
- Manage supply chain risks and support resilience through governance and best practices.
- Organise training sessions to enhance procurement skills within the team.
- Stay up to date on industry trends to optimize procurement processes.

Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in procurement and contract management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare detailed reports.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to work with diverse teams and maintain high standards of governance and compliance.
- Tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain, contract management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement or contract management.
