Casual Prep Cook – High-Volume Production

⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
💰 Pay Rate: $32.25 per hour (Casual, Level 3 HIGA)

Elizabeth Andrews Catering is seeking a Casual Prep Cook to join our high-volume production team. This role is perfect for an experienced cook who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and enjoys bulk food preparation.

About the Role:

As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for:
- Bulk cooking of meats for our corporate catering menu
- Preparation of sandwich fillings such as chicken, egg, and other high-volume mixes
- Preparation of our buffet and event menu items as part of a large team
-Cheese and fruit preparation and presentation for our platters.
- Ensuring consistency and quality across all prepped items
- Following food safety and hygiene standards
- Assisting with general kitchen duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Experience in high-volume food production (catering, large-scale kitchens, or manufacturing environments preferred)
✅ Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
✅ Ability to work efficiently and independently in a busy kitchen
✅ Excellent attention to detail and adherence to food safety guidelines
✅ A reliable and team-focused attitude

This is a casual role with consistent hours Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, offering a great opportunity for an experienced prep cook to join a well-established catering team.
